JJ Strikes Again.

So JJ woke me up at 4 am. I started a movie for him, and went back to bed. Our routine is that he'll watch the movie, and come get me to start another one or if he wants something to eat. Last night he didn't ever come back to get me, and I didn't wake up again. Until 7am when MJ runs into my room to tell me JJ was "painting in the living room."

Now keep in mind that these pictures were taken after we had already cleaned the paint off the windows, the leather couch, and most of the floor. This is just the stuff that we haven't been able to remove yet.

UPDATE: Two days later, and we have been able to access the real extent of the damage. The TV armoire is ruined, we could paint over it, but it was stained a nice cherry color matching our bedroom furniture. For now we will just remove the doors, defeating the purpose of having an armoire to close the TV out of sight. Bummer. The coffee table- we scrapped most of the paint off of it fairly easily. It has white in the groves and crevisis, but this was a Goodwill purchase, so it's not too painful. The (once) black mini trunk and heavy wooden pig doorstop- both destroyed. I'm sad about these ones. I loved the pig doorstop, and have not yet had a chance to use it as such. And the little chest is where I keep favorite photos. It was new. :( The kitchen cabinets were already ugly, so scrapping the paint off of them was more annoying than anything. I'd prefer them white, and secretly wish JJ had done a more thourough coverage. The walls need a few coats of green paint and they will look good as new. The windows and leather couches have been 100% restored. Whew.

Life is never boring at my house.

You have such a great attitude about this! I'm glad that you were able to restore most of it again. As I said before... whenever you want to lend me JJ for painting, I'd appreciate it! Seeing as how he can get a lot more painting done in 3 hours then I ever can. Ugh!

Wow! We are all standing around looking at these pictures admiring the way you kept your cool.

I think the new house needs an art studio for that boy with paintable walls and floor.

He may have a future in painting! He was very careful about going around things!

Oh man! Looks like you have your hands full. Maybe you should consider remodeling your house in white board. Good luck.
