England

I was lucky to be able to spend a week with my parents and siblings (minus one who is about to have a baby) in England. We saw all the sights, ate lots of fish n' chips, and had a great time just hanging out together.

Robin Hood's Bay- coblestone streets, mismatched rowhouses, gorgeous flowers. If you ever go to England- go here!! It is gorgeous and charming and has a great history.

How many people can you fit in a telephone booth? Three- with mom holding the door.
Our first stop: The home of our Ancestors (now a museum) called Hallith Wood.

Whitby Abbey in Yorkshire on the Black Sea. Built around 657ad.

The first 2 days spent in the north of England were beautiful and peaceful and relaxing.

Up next: The West and Bath. The Roman Baths are awesome- you don't want to miss it!!

Hi Aj,
Wanted to say hi as saw on your blog that you visited England, I hoped you liked it. I live in the south east of England in a town called Brighton. I am going to start posting some pictures on my blog soon with local sites of south east England . I really enjoy reading peoples blogs and seeing what it is like in different countries. I am learning that people have waffles for breakfast with syrup, crispy cremes are doughnuts?. Not sure what peoples main morning drink is though. Anyway wanted to say hi X Dommi
