As much as I complain about living where I do, in this particular city, I can't deny that it is awesome to live so close to the beach. An hour in the car, a little longer and further south if we want to chase the sun, and we can smell the sea air again. Ahhhhh........We had a wonderful two day family vacation, all dedicated to time in the sand. Yay!

I caught JJ in a quiet giggle. 
When JJ isn't agreeable, sometimes there is no other way but to carry him away. CJ makes this look easy, but believe me, it is not. JJ is a 110lb wiggling, usually pinching or biting, weight. And right before I snapped this pic CJ was walking for quite a ways up the beach in the sand. I could not survive without my strong husband.

It's always so nice to just get away with your family. I am glad you guys had that chance! Those are beautiful pictures!!
Knowing that that crab is "no longer with us" makes me giggle. Is that sick? But, you just look at the picture and you have to realize that he died looking at something he loved. *hee hee* Gorgeous pics! I'm glad you guys were able to get away. School is probably ready to start soon isn't it? Good luck raising the rest of your funds. I know that the conference is going to be amazing.
