The face of a cowboy angel.

This cute little guy is my youngest, JJ. He's quite a handful, always on the go, and has totaly stolen our hearts. If you know anything about autism, you know what a challenge it can be to raise one of these special kids. But it is-hands down- the most rewarding thing I will ever do.

Yeah- it's hard. It's messy (you don't want to know), time-consuming, and often heart-breaking. But I have learned more in the past 5 years with JJ, about compassion and acceptance and speaking up to get what he needs, than I ever could have learned if he wasn't my precious child.

We thank the Lord everyday for the angel he sent to us, in the form of a silent little boy.
